Starting Out With Computers
Course Description
This workshop will walk you first through the basics of what a computer is, what its components are and how it’s operated. We’ll teach you how to use a mouse and keyboard.
Then we’ll put those skills to good use to create your first document on the computer, and perhaps do a little web surfing along the way.
Your tutor will also will walk you through the very basics of the internet: how it works, how to get online and how to surf the web.
At the end, you should be able to sign up for an internet service and access and search the internet on your home computer.
