About Kiama & Shoalhaven Community College
Kiama Community College Inc. offers both accredited vocational training and non accredited leisure courses. The organisation was established in 1986 and became a Registered Training Organisation in 1994. The College is known for the friendly, supportive and reassuring environment it provides to participants, its flexibility and high quality training. Kiama Community College is managed by a Board of Management whose membership is drawn from the community. The Board of Management employs a College Manager, Program Managers and administrative staff.Kiama Community College Inc. is a volunteer-managed, community based adult education provider. We operate as an independent, incorporated, non-for-profit association to provide high quality, adult education courses and activities to meet the expressed learning needs of the community. The primary communities we serve are Kiama & the Shoalhaven & Illawarra regions. The College focuses on delivering education and learning projects that meet the social, economic and cultural needs of these communities. We have a range of courses to improve an inspire your life.
Kiama Community College Inc. receives core funding from NSW Department of Education & Communities, Adult & Community Education Unit and State Training Services. It also attracts a number of other sources of government funding as well as fee for service business to fund its operations.
In 2009, Kiama Community College expanded its offerings to the Shoalhaven region with the establishment of Shoalhaven Community College, a campus of Kiama Community College. Servicing the large and diverse composition of the Shoalhaven region's 95000 community members, Shoalhaven Community College is a valuable addition. Shoalhaven Community College offers the Shoalhaven region with state-of-the-art Hair & Beauty training facilities, modern computer rooms, contemporary kitchen area and a choice of fully equipped training rooms.

About the Board Of Management
Kiama Community College Incorporated is an independent, not-for-profit association. It is governed by a Board of Management whose membership is drawn from both the Kiama, Shoalhaven & Illawarra communities. It is the Board's role to ensure the College upholds its purpose, key values and regulatory obligations whilst ensuring the integrity and quality of any training undertaken.

Doing school differently
Shoalhaven River College (SRC) is a small registered non-government high school for students that may experience difficulty suceeding in mainstream education, or who may feel uncomfortable in a mainstream setting.
SRC will deliver a NESA-accredited Stage 5 curriculum for Year 9 & 10 students, giving them the opportunity to obtain a ROSA. SRC is planning to deliver Stage 6 curriculum from 2020 to enable students to obtain their HSC.
