What we offer
Kiama Community College’s Outdoor Academy is your local registered training organisation delivering Certificate III and IV in Outdoor Leadership.
We cover the activity needs of your organisation in the areas of Bushwalking, Kayaking, Canoeing, Top Rope Climbing, Snorkelling and Archery.
Training and assessment is completed through site visits and practical training blocks which are set out in advance to allow forward planning for your staff to attend and gain skills and evidence towards their assessment.
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership SIS30619 or a Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership SIS40621
Online Resources
Trainees are provided access to our extensive online training resources to track and complete assessment tasks
Training Blocks
On the job training is combined with activity specific training blocks spaced throughout the traineeship to develop activity skills and gather assessment evidence.
