White Card Workshops
CPCWHS1001- Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
If you want to work in the construction industry, you’ll need a White Card before you can start. This includes anyone working on a construction site, or people who regularly visit one without supervision.
What you’ll learn:
- How to spot and report safety issues
- Ways to reduce the chance of accidents or injuries
- What to do if there’s a workplace health and safety incident
- How to choose and wear the right personal protective equipment (PPE)

Course outcome:
After finishing the course, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for:
CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
This is your official White Card.
Important:
To take this course, you must bring 100 points of original ID documents with you on the day.
This is a requirement from SafeWork NSW and you cannot do the course without this ID.
Cost
$0* – $165 ($165 Standard Fee) *This qualification may be subsidised by the NSW Government under the ACE initiative for eligible students. Please call or enrol online to determine your eligibility.
