CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
Course Description
Qualified aged-care workers are needed now and into the future to provide the support and quality of care required for our ageing population.
This course is the perfect entry point into this rewarding career. You will gain the skills required to operate effectively as a care worker or as a community care worker.
Graduates experience high employment rates as aged care workers are in demand.
We offer unique training opportunities both in the classroom and through 120 hours of work placement experience and training at Illawarra aged care facilities. You do not have to source your own work placement experience – we do that for you!
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
Cost
$240* – $1,750 (Full fee $8,660)

Aged Care Taster Course
Would you like a career helping people?
Qualified aged-care workers are needed now and into the future to provide the support and quality of care required for our ageing population.
This ‘Aged Care Taster’ will provide participants with a snapshot of the content covered in the full qualification of Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) CHC33021.
It will also give participants a general insight into aged care work through practical hands on experience in the classroom.
This is a terrific opportunity to see if aged care work is right for you.
On successful completion students will receive a statement of participation in:
- Introduction to residential aged care work and personal care
- Communications skills & supporting and promoting independence while working safely
- The elderly as individuals
