Your Zoom Classroom
We want to help you to stay connected and keep growing during these challenging times.
That’s why we are offering a range of free and subsidised online courses in Term 3 for Lifestyle, Seniors, Small Business and Job Seekers. These classes are being held online using Zoom.
To access the 'Zoom Classroom' you will need the following:
- A Computer, a Smartphone/iPhone or a Tablet/iPad with an internet connection and an inbuilt camera and microphone. Unless you are using a desktop computer, your device will already have a camera and microphone built in.
- Enough data available via your internet connection. If you are connected to your home wifi this will not be an issue.
If you enrol in a course online with an email address you will recieve an email reminder 2-3 days before your course commences. This will include a secure link to your Zoom Classroom and instructions on how to join.
If you have not used Zoom before you will be prompted to install the Zoom App when you click on the link. It is a good idea to have done this before the meeting starts so that you are ready to go.
If you do not have an email address and have enrolled in a course over the phone, our friendly staff will contact you to guide you through the process of logging into your Zoom Classroom online.
This will include searching join.zoom.us in your internet browser and then entering in your secure Meeting ID which we will be provided over the phone.
We know that accessing this may feel challenging for some at first, but we are here to assist you with this process and our friendly staff are always happy to answer any questions you may have.
