Introduction to Producing Podcasts
This workshop is brought to you by Kiama Community Radio (KCR)
Do you enjoy speaking to interesting people with stories to tell? Podcasts tell stories in sound. Easy to produce and easy to access, a podcast is a medium that reaches audiences of all ages, which is why podcasts have taken the broadcasting world by storm.
The team from KCR will introduce you to the simple tools of broadcasting. You will learn how to plan and structure a program, apply interview techniques, and how to record audio. Above all, you will learn the importance of thoughtful content and delivery in producing a successful podcast. Not only will you learn the basics of producing your own podcast, participants will also have the opportunity to become a volunteer with KCR, be involved in radio and generate exciting new local content.
This course is delivered as a 3 hr workshop, to allow for recording practice and breaks.
