Complete Guide to Email
Free* for Seniors 60+
WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
While you will have heard of email, you may not know exactly how it works, what you need to get set up, or how to use it. After exploring the basics we will move on to more advanced and important features.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
This workshop covers the basic steps you need to help keep in touch with your family and friends using email. It will explain how to set up an email account, how to send an email, and how to read and reply to emails that have been sent to you.
You will move onto more complex tasks such as adding email addresses to your address book and how to send group emails, as well as some handy hints and tips to help you manage your email address book. You’ll also get your first guide to the weird and wonderful world of email etiquette.
Finally you will learn how to add attachments and how to use online folders to organise your email library, and how to keep a copy of emails you’ve sent as well as received. You’ll also learn some tips to help you avoid junk mail and protect your privacy online.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bring your own laptop or we will supply you with one.
