Course Description

CPCWHS1001- Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

If you want to work in the construction industry, you’ll need a White Card before you can start. This includes anyone working on a construction site, or people who regularly visit one without supervision.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to spot and report safety issues
  • Ways to reduce the chance of accidents or injuries
  • What to do if there’s a workplace health and safety incident
  • How to choose and wear the right personal protective equipment (PPE)

Course outcome:

After finishing the course, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for: 

CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

This is your official White Card.

Important:

To take this course, you must bring 100 points of original ID documents with you on the day.
This is a requirement from SafeWork NSW and you cannot do the course without this ID.

 

Cost

$0* – $150 (Course Fee)

Plus $30.00 SafeWork registration fee which is not covered by any funding

*This qualification (course fee) may be subsidised by the NSW Government under the ACE initiative for eligible students. Please call or enrol online to determine your eligibility.

If applicable, this assessment will be conducted through our learner portal, and access details will be sent to you via email. It is important that you complete and submit it before your enrolment can be finalised. This step helps us ensure you receive the right support throughout your learning journey.
