THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO

THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO

Learn Local. Thrive anywhere.

Our purpose is to provide quality learning opportunities to empower individuals to achieve their personal and employment goals, thereby enriching the community economically, socially and culturally. We are committed to a more equal society, accessible learning options, support of the individual, a community focus and professionalism. With 94 staff members and 1,100 enrolments each year, we address education gaps in our community.

We work with many vulnerable people throughout the Illawarra & Shoalhaven Region so that they can transform their lives through appropriate education and support. This includes people arriving in Australia as refugees, people experiencing a mental health condition, young people at risk, long term unemployed and people experiencing addiction or homelessness. It is our privilege to be of service to these inspiring people, as well as to provide quality mainstream education for our general community.

When you choose to study with us, you are helping to support these programs as well as the programs that we subsidise, including the Silver Fox Drop In Centre and our new literacy classes.
We have so many great stories to share about our innovative programs and inspiring students. If you would like to find out more about the great work we do, you can follow on social media. Whatever season of life you are in, there is something for you at the Community College.
