RISE Program - Inclusive Education

Rewarding Inclusive Social Education (RISE)

RISE classes are designed to support students living with a disability to learn skills, have fun, socialise in a recreational setting and to participate in the local community. Classes are filled with fun and impart life skills such as cooking, photography and using IT and activities such as being creative with art and craft, music and dance, playing games, relaxation and exercise and going on social outings.

RISE students are well supported by qualified tutors and staff with qualifications in Disability Services.

Classes are currently held in the evenings at the following locations:

  • Dapto and Bomaderry on Mondays
  • Bomaderry on Tuesdays
  • Kiama and Bomaderry on Wednesdays
  • Shellcove on Thursdays

RISE students are well supported by qualified tutors and staff with qualifications in Disability Services.
