Course Description

These workshops are targeted at the learner who is looking to offer facials in the salon or begin their beauty career. In this course students will learner the basics of health and safety, anatomy in relation to this course. We will also cover the background, benefits, treatments, consultation, contra-indications, contra-actions, after–care, equipment and products needed. The student will also learn the movements and techniques required to perform professional treatment. 

On successful completion of the course participants will receive a statement of participation in the workshops:  

• Client consultation 

• Skin analysis Skin types and skin conditions 

• The Do’s and Don’ts of setting up your beauty room 

• How to Set up the right atmosphere for your clients 

• Products and equipment required 

• Facial skills for beginners 

• Deluxe Facial  

• Learn facial sequences  

• Microdermabrasion

*This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government under the ACE initiative for eligible students. Funding eligibility will be established after we receive the application form.
